Beaulieu25th May 2016
The maximum number in the group has to be limited to 15 – so booking will be on a first-come-first-served basis and the visit will have to be confined to LMC members only.
The Tour will commence at 10am with coffee and introduction, and a buffet lunch will be provided by the Museum later in the day, aimed to finish around 2 to 2.30pm. We will be joined at lunch by the Hon. Mary Montagu-Scott and members of the team.
The introduction will also be given by the Hon. Mary Montagu-Scott personally and will include a brief outline of what the exclusive Beaulieu One Hundred Club is aiming to achieve. The private tour will then be conducted by other members of the Beaulieu team and will include a behind the scenes viewing (i.e. not available to the public) of the reference library and the vast array of information it holds, the photographic collections and the basement of the Collection Centre where all kinds of wonders lurk! After the collection centre, we will go to the main museum for a tour followed by a light lunch. Members will be free to view the rest of the attraction after lunch for as long as they wish.
The Tour will be free but LMC visitors will be invited to donate say £25 to either the National Motor Museum (Beaulieu) Trust or to an individual special project such as the restoration and maintenance of the Sunbeam WLSR car.
Contact Roger Earl email@example.com to reserve your place. Numbers are strictly limited.
